The series till date has completed six seasons and is on the verge of making the seventh one. The series debuted in 2000 with each season having ten episodes in it. Till date series has completed sixty episodes in all.
Season 1 of the series was premiered on October 15, 2000 with ten episodes in it. The season deals with the common day activities in the life of Larry David. The series begins with introduction to Larry and his new world after Seinfeld. Larry is well settled in his new world with a perfect house, loving family and good friends. Then what could go wrong? Its jut those unexpected things in life which create problems for him and laughter for the viewers. Even if he intends to do some good work, he somehow ends up in some or the other problem. Actually he is none other than he himself, who is his worst enemy. He is most of the times in trouble because of his own silly acts. Generally he ends up being in weird situations that creates laughter among its viewers. At times he is accused of adulteration and at other times he becomes means of laughter as he looses his one shoe at the bowling alley.
Season 1 does not follow any set pattern as far as the storyline is concerned. Every half an hour episode starts with a new concept and is full of entertainment.
