Curb Your Enthusiasm TV Show

‘Curb your Enthusiasm’ is one of the best situational comedies on television. The series revolves around the life of semi-retired, multimillionaire Larry David in the world after ‘Seinfeld’. The series is famous throughout because of the unique way in which it is handled. There are no set cameras, no scripts and no dialogues, the actors are just given a clue about the situation and are then shot under natural circumstances. Larry David’s this series has been on air since 2000 and has been loved ever since.

But, this year was a sort of barren year for the fans. Why I call it barren is because the series has not yet been called cancelled and is going to be back with another season. Its sixth season aired last year and seventh season was to be aired this year, but it’s almost the end of the year and there are no signs of the season. And, now it is in news that the seventh season of the series will come in the year 2009. This delay in the series is because of the fact that Larry is very busy with his new project. He and Woody Allen are making a movie together under the name ‘Whatever Works’, which left no time for Larry to think about the next season of the series. It is also in news that they will start the production of the seventh season in December. The seventh season will have ten episodes in it. And with these ten episodes Larry will be back to entertain his viewers.

Larry, we definitely want to see your movie and there are no second thoughts about it. But it gets very difficult for your fans to wait for that long. We are badly waiting for the next season and we hope that you quickly finish the shoot of the next season. We are missing you and your show.

I know, series will be back much later than expected but the satisfying thing is that, it’d be back.

Sixth season finale ‘The Bat Mitzvah’ was aired on 11-11-2007 and we found that it’s Sammy’s bat mitzvah and Larry used it to clear up the nasty rumors about him. Meanwhile, the Blacks announced their return to home. Finally, we’ve some positive signs of season seven ….

But, here I’d like to make clear that series will not come very soon as Larry David, the executive producer who portrays himself on show, has a very busy schedule. Nowadays, he’s working with Woody Allen for a new movie. The name of the movie is yet to be announced. Most probably, the production won’t commence till the next fall. Upcoming season is presumed to have a story arc involving Larry when he gets a part in Woody Allen movie, exactly like he does in his real life.

Well, the another buzz is that Cheryl Hines, appearing as Larry David’s wife on ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, has been cast in a new TV show ‘In The Motherhood’- a show which follows the adventurous life of three moms. 13 episodes have been confirmed by ABC for this brand-new series. We may enjoy it before ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ airs new episodes.

The series have been running from the past eight years and is all set for yet another season. The series was started in 2000 and has been doing great ever since. I guess the best part about the series is that it is shot in a completely different way and that the characters can experiment more with their roles. What will be the end result of their shoot no one knows and probably the series looks so fresh every time.

This 30 minute comedy show is full of laughter and of new concepts that make viewers laugh. Actually the misadventures of common day activities are brought into light, which we generally don’t pay attention on. The different way in which the show has been produced and written actually provides to the comedic effect to the series.

The series till date has been nominated twenty Emmy awards winning one and has also received one Golden Globe for Best Television Comedy. The show is also rated as one of the most watched shows on television. Let’s hope that the series will keep entertaining its viewers with such new and refreshing concepts. And I am sure that everyone is waiting for the next season to begin.

To get its viewers all braced up, the channel started with this game concept on the HBO official site. The game will ask questions about the series and test the fans on the basis of their knowledge of the series. But well let me tell you it will not be that easy. They will surprise you with their humor and if you have to win, you will have to surprise them and make them believe that you and Larry think alike.

The game is updated every Monday after the episode is telecasted. Well this is for all the fans who believe that they are the biggest fans of the series. Everyone is hopeful that the next season of the series will also have ten episodes as the previous seasons had. But no one is too sure, until and unless Larry starts shooting up for the next season and announces what he has this time for the fans.

One big reason for the delay of the next season. The director of the HBO channel is hopeful that Larry will soon be able to complete his new enterprise and then devote his time for the making of the series.

“Whatever Works” reportedly was set to release in early 2009. The movie runs around the theme of “Blackish Comedy” where David plays the love interest of a 20 year old. The movie is a comedy and is somewhat different from the rest of his works. Larry David is all full of praises for this new young actress, Evan Rachel.

Let’s hope that they are soon able to complete the movie, so that we will be able to enjoy yet another new season of the amazing comedy series. Well any ways the fan of David Larry has nothing to worry as he will be entertaining them in one way or the other.
